Dr. Calvin Leung is an Associate Product Manager at Takara Bio USA, where he manages the molecular cloning product portfolio, including industry-leading solutions like In-Fusion Snap Assembly Master Mix and Stellar Competent Cells. Calvin earned his bachelor of science in biochemistry and molecular biology from UC Santa Cruz and his PhD in molecular biology from UCLA, with a research focus on RNA biology. Following his graduate studies, he completed postdoctoral fellowships at UNC Chapel Hill and Brown University. At Takara Bio, Calvin combines his scientific background with a customer-centric approach to drive innovative solutions that empower researchers in cloning workflows.
Dennis Condy is a Field Applications Specialist with Eppendorf. He graduated with a bachelor of science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and has worked with Eppendorf in different capacities for the past eighteen years with the last six years as a field applications specialist. In this role, he assists in pre- and post-sales support of the epMotion automated liquid handling systems. This includes the implementation of user applications on the epMotion to help the end user get operational as quickly as possible and help their lab run more efficiently.
