Tet-On 3G inducible expression lentiviral systems—kit components

All lentiviral versions of the Tet-On 3G system contain the following components:

• 10 µg regulator vector (see tables below)
• 10 µg response vector (see tables below)
• 10 µg control vector expressing luciferase under the control of a TRE3G promoter (pLVX-TRE3G-Luc)
• Lenti-X Packaging Single Shots (VSVG) (Cat. # 631275)
• Lenti-X GoStix Plus (Sample) (Cat. # 631279; not sold separately)

Use the tables below to pick the specific system that meets your needs. If you prefer a system that uses the human EF1-alpha promoter to express the transactivator protein, please refer to the second table below. EF1-alpha systems are recommended for use in cell types in which CMV promoters are often silenced, such as hematopoietic stem cells, allowing for consistent expression of the tetracycline transactivator in those cells. Note that plasmid, retroviral, and adenoviral Tet-On 3G inducible expression systems are also available.
