Takara Taq and Taq HS
TaKaRa Taq DNA Polymerase is a recombinant version of the thermostable, 94-kDa Taq polymerase derived from the Thermus aquaticus YT-1 strain, which is suitable for routine PCR applications. The hot-start version contains a mixture of Taq polymerase and a monoclonal antibody that binds to Taq polymerase, thereby preventing DNA synthesis at room temperature.
