NucleoProtect VET Reagent is a DNA/RNA stabilization and viral inactivation solution that enables safe handling, storage, and screening of veterinary blood and swab samples for molecular diagnostics. The reagent removes virulence while reliably preserving nucleic acids in the sample, which increases the accuracy and precision of molecular diagnostics tests and reduces variability. In addition, the nucleic acid stabilizer makes cold chain logistics obsolete and allows shipment and storage at ambient temperatures.

NucleoProtect VET Reagent comes in bulk to allow the use of your own collection vessels or pre-aliquoted in double-barcoded blood collection or swab collection tubes for maximum traceability of samples. Once collected, nucleic acids can be easily extracted using NucleoSpin VET or NucleoMag VET paired with Neutralization Buffer PFN (Cat. # 740121.5) or Buffer VIA (Cat. # 744206), respectively.
