Isolation of genomic DNA from lipid-rich tissue—NucleoSpin DNA Lipid Tissue

Isolation of genomic DNA from lipid-rich tissue

The NucleoSpin DNA Lipid Tissue kit is designed for rapid purification of highly pure genomic DNA from any type of tissue with a high lipid content such as brain, adipose, or fish tissue. The kit utilizes MN Bead Tubes Type D (steel beads; included in the kit) in combination with a common disruption device, such as an MN Bead Tube Holder or a swing mill, to lyse different cell types and tissues using a single procedure. MN bead tubes can also be ordered separately if needed.

Overview

  • Special buffer composition for efficient removal of lipids
  • Includes MN bead tubes for efficient lysis—compatible with the most common disruption devices
  • Fast and convenient procedure without RNA contamination
