NucleoMag DNA Microbiome

The NucleoMag DNA Microbiome kit enables high-throughput DNA isolation for the study of microbial communities found in samples such as stool, soil, and biofilms. The kit employs a proprietary inhibitor removal technology to avoid challenges associated with PCR amplification of extracted DNA in downstream applications, and allows for the incorporation of a sample homogenization step to ensure sufficient DNA yields from hard-to-lyse samples.

The magnetic bead-based format of the kit enables easy automation of the sample processing workflow, and the protocol can be scaled up or down according to the demands of the application. Automated processing of 96 samples on the KingFisher Flex can be completed in ~30 min (excluding sample lysis). Automation scripts are available for common platforms and can be requested from our technical support team.

Overview

  • Efficient processing of stool, soil, and biofilm samples—obtain higher yields than with competitor kits
