Magnetic separators for NucleoMag purification kits

96-well magnetic separator

NucleoMag SEP magnetic separators are designed for high-throughput purification of nucleic acids using the corresponding NucleoMag kits. NucleoMag kits employ magnetic bead-based technology and allow rapid, simultaneous purification of high-quality nucleic acids. NucleoMag SEP magnetic separators can be used in manual workflows or incorporated with common liquid-handling instruments for automated sample processing.

During the washing and elution steps of the NucleoMag procedure, NucleoMag beads are freely dispersed in solution. Mixing of beads and buffer occurs by pipetting up and down or by shaking. To separate the beads from the solution, plates or tubes containing the bead mixtures are transferred to a suitable NucleoMag SEP unit. NucleoMag Beads are then attracted to the magnet, allowing for subsequent buffer removal.
