Plasmid DNA megaprep—NucleoBond PC 2000
NucleoBond PC 2000 plasmid megaprep kits allow you to purify up to 2,000 µg of plasmid DNA in just a few hours without phenol/chloroform extraction. The kits can be used to purify high- and low-copy-number plasmids, cosmids, BACs, PACs, and YACs grown from bacterial cultures. The resulting plasmids are at least as pure as plasmids isolated by traditional cesium chloride procedures and can be used for the most demanding molecular biology applications, including mammalian transfection, in vitro transcription, and automated sequencing. Using novel chemistry and a unique snap-off column design, NucleoSnap Plasmid Midi provides rapid purification of up to 700 µg of transfection-grade plasmid. The snap-off columns allow processing of lysate from large 50-ml culture volumes, and multiple samples can be rapidly processed by vacuum using our NucleoVac 24 Vacuum Manifold.
