Myc-tag and HA-tag vectors: mammalian expression vectors

These mammalian expression vectors allow you to express a protein of interest fused to either the c-Myc or hemagglutinin (HA) epitope tag. c-Myc and HA are well-characterized and highly immunoreactive tags, and thus are ideal for co-IP studies but are also easily detected via Western blot. Moreover, c-Myc and HA are small tags and thus unlikely to interfere with the function of your protein.

The myc- or HA-tagged protein of interest can be detected by either western analysis or fluorescence microscopy using an anti-myc antibody or anti-HA antibody.

The pCMV-Myc & pCMV-HA Vector Set includes c-Myc Monoclonal and HA-Tag Polyclonal Antibodies, which can also be used in Western blot, ELISA, or immunostaining assays. A sequencing primer is also included in the set to confirm that the insert is in the correct reading frame.
