Insect cell line for Baculovirus expression

These cells are used as a host for propagating the Autographa californica multiple-enveloped nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) and its expression vector derivatives generated from our BacPAK system. The IPLB-Sf21 cell line is derived from pupal ovaries of the fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda.
