Western blot detection of Reef Coral Fluorescent Proteins by the Anti-RCFP Polyclonal Pan Antibody

Western blot detection of Reef Coral Fluorescent Proteins by the Anti-RCFP Polyclonal Pan Antibody
Western blot detection of Reef Coral Fluorescent Proteins by the Anti-RCFP Polyclonal Pan Antibody. This antibody detects all of the Reef Coral Fluorescent Proteins (AmCyan, AsRed, DsRed2, DsRed-Express, HcRed, ZsGreen, and ZsYellow). It does not recognize green fluorescent protein variants derived from Aequorea species (including AcGFP1). Cell lysates were prepared from HEK 293 cell lines stably expressing the indicated protein. Lysates were analyzed by Western blot using Anti-RCFP Polyclonal Pan Antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution. Each lane contains approximately 35,000 cell equivalents. Lane 1: AcGFP1. Lane 2: Blank. Lane 3: DsRed-Express. Lane 4: AmCyan1. Lane 5: ZsGreen1. Lane 6: Control (untransfected cells). Lane 7: ZsYellow1. Lane 8: AsRed2. Lane 9: HcRed1.

632392 Living Colors® DsRed Monoclonal Antibody 200 uL USD $534.00

A monoclonal antibody for the detection of Discosoma sp. red fluorescent protein (DsRed). This antibody recognizes denatured forms of wild-type DsRed and its variants, including DsRed1, DsRed2, and DsRed1-E5 (the Fluorescent Timer). The antibody binds DsRed1 and DsRed2 even when these proteins are expressed as fusions to other proteins. Both N- and C-terminal fusions are recognized. The Living Colors DsRed Monoclonal Antibody is recommended for Western blotting applications only.

The mCherry monoclonal antibody detects PAmCherry in the lysate of mammalian cells

The mCherry monoclonal antibody detects PAmCherry in the lysate of mammalian cells

The mCherry monoclonal antibody detects PAmCherry-N1 in the lysate of mammalian cells. HEK 293 cells were transiently transfected with pPAmCherry-N1. Cell lysates (corresponding to 30,000 cells) were prepared from HEK 293 cells transiently expressing PAmCherry-N1 (Lane 1) or a negative control (untransfected cells; Lane 2). Both lysates and a positive control (5 ng recombinant mCherry; Lane 3) were separated by SDS-PAGE and analyzed by Western blot using the mCherry monoclonal antibody at the recommended dilution of 1:1000.
