Note: At Takara Bio, we are committed to offering exceptional products for whole transcriptome analysis and immune profiling. We are continually improving performance by launching new products and refining kits to improve the convenience and flexibility of our current products while keeping the same premium performance.

The changes to our NGS RNA-seq products include:

    1. Increased multiplexing capability and flexibility with a common set of Unique Dual Index (UDI) kits
    2. Updated kit sizes to match UDI kit formats (i.e., 24, 96, or 384 reactions)
    3. Informative kit naming—mRNA for dT-primed kits, total RNA for randomly primed kits, and LP for kits that include library preparation

Good science leaves no possibility uninvestigated—no matter how small the sample size or how varied the sample composition.

We offer exceptional tools for rapid and accurate transcriptome analysis using RNA sequencing or RNA-seq. We are continuously refining and building upon our core SMART (Switching Mechanism at the 5′ end of RNA Template) technology, which leverages the terminal transferase activity and template-switching capability of certain reverse transcriptases to capture full-length sequence information and incorporate adapter sequences to generate double-stranded cDNA.
