Lentiviral Tet-One inducible expression systems
The Tet-One system allows you to generate inducible expression systems as easily as you would generate constitutive expression systems. Previous inducible expression systems required transduction of two separate vectors into your cells. With the Tet-One system, both the doxycycline-responsive transactivator and your gene of interest are combined onto the same vector.
The Tet-One system allows you to generate inducible expression systems as easily as you would generate constitutive expression systems. Previous inducible expression systems required transduction of two separate vectors into your cells. With the Tet-One system, both the doxycycline-responsive transactivator and your gene of interest are combined on the same vector. This allows for an easier setup while maintaining the low background expression and up to 25,000-fold induction (Heinz et al. 2011) in response to doxycycline that is found in the Tet-On 3G systems.
Lenti-X Packaging Single Shots (VSV-G), a high-titer fourth-generation packaging system, is included with each Lenti-X Tet-One kit.
- Highly efficient Lenti-X Packaging Single Shots (VSV-G), (included) generates high titers with a very high safety profile
- Tightly controlled expression of your gene of interest with the TRE3G promoter
- Simple, single-vector design
- Option to use a puromycin resistance cassette to select for stable clones
- Tet-Express systems and Tet-On 3G lentiviral systems are also available
- Tetracycline-inducible expression in the widest range of hard-to-transfect cell types
