In this webinar, Bryan Bell of Takara Bio USA speaks about the benefits of full-length scRNA-seq in today’s research, particularly with regards to biomarker discovery applications. This webinar also serves as an introduction to Takara Bio's SMART-Seq Pro chemistry, an automated solution with superior sensitivity and power to detect biological events deep within the transcriptome. Together with the ICELL8 cx Single-Cell System and included Cogent NGS analysis tools, the SMART-Seq Pro kit is shown to be valuable for the investigation of splice variants, gene fusions, and SNVs.

Bryan Bell, PhD

Dr. Bryan Bell began his research career at University of Washington before completing his graduate work in molecular biology and biochemistry at University of California, Irvine. He returned to Seattle for his post-doctoral work at Benaroya Research Institute, studying immune responses in allergy models. For the past 9 years, he has held several roles at Takara Bio USA, and is currently the Senior Market Strategy Manager for Biomarker Discovery.
