PrimeSTAR GXL Premix Fast, Dye plus is a convenient 2X PCR master mix containing PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase, a blue gel-loading dye, and a density reagent for easy processing. PrimeSTAR GXL polymerase is a hot-start, high-fidelity enzyme optimized to amplify GC-rich templates, samples with excess templates, and long PCR products up to 30 kb.

PrimeSTAR GXL Premix Fast, Dye plus is a convenient 2X PCR master mix containing PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase, a blue gel-loading dye, and a density reagent for easy processing. PrimeSTAR GXL polymerase is a hot-start, high-fidelity enzyme optimized to amplify GC-rich templates, samples with excess templates, and long PCR products up to 30 kb.

PrimeSTAR GXL Premix Fast, Dye plus enables you to save time and simplify your amplification workflow by incorporating unsurpassed processivity and sensitivity. Simply add primers and template, and run the PCR. Additionally, you can rapidly screen your amplicons by loading them onto an agarose gel immediately after amplification or digesting directly with restriction enzymes, without purification.

This optimized, 2X master mix comprises PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase (a high-fidelity DNA polymerase), reaction buffer, dNTP mixture, blue gel-loading dye, and density reagent. PrimeSTAR GXL polymerase is a robust enzyme for use in difficult reactions, including amplification of GC-rich regions (without requiring special reaction conditions), in the presence of excess template, and with long targets up to 30 kb in length.

Termini of PCR products

  • PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase generates products with blunt ends. It is suitable for use in conjunction with blunt-ended cloning systems.

Recommended maximum amplicon length

  • Up to 30 kb (human genomic DNA template)
  • Up to 40 kb (lambda DNA template)
  • Up to 13.5 kb (human cDNA template)
