Tet systems—Tet-On 3G

Vector systems and cell lines for inducible expression using the Tet-On 3G transactivator

Compared to their predecessors (Tet-On and Tet-On Advanced systems), Tet-On 3G systems demonstrate lower basal expression (by 5- to 20-fold) and higher sensitivity to doxycycline (Dox) induction, which is particularly advantageous for in vivo studies in tissues where high Dox concentrations are difficult to attain (e.g., brain). We offer several plasmid and viral delivery options for the Tet-On 3G system, plus promoters that allow for consistent long-term expression of the Tet transactivator.
