American Association of Immunologists
Unlock immunological insights to reveal disease mechanisms
The IMMUNOLOGY2025 annual meeting of the American Association of Immunologists was May 3–7 in Honolulu, HI and brought together immunology professionals to connect with the global community; collaborate with peers, prospective authors, and potential funders; participate in career development sessions; and access cutting-edge research.
At the meeting, we presented a workshop about our comprehensive solutions to support critical biomarker discovery and immunology research. Our booth also featured information on our latest innovations for single-cell spatial genomics.

Unlocking precision in immune profiling: sensitivity, accuracy, and versatility across sample types

In this workshop, Dr. Yue Yun discussed how our SMART (Switching Mechanism at 5' end of RNA Template)-based immune profiling technologies deliver the sensitivity and accuracy needed to discover TCR and BCR biomarkers. The audience learned how our solutions achieved superior detection of rare BCR clonotypes in a rigorous spike-in study and the real-world applications of SMART tools to track immune dynamics during disease. Attendees discovered how to transform research with advanced immune profiling tools.

Unlocking multiomic analysis in spatial genomics: Integrating spatial ATAC-seq and V(D)J sequencing with gene expression using novel spatial barcoding of single nuclei

This poster shows how Trekker™ technology was used to transform single-cell sequencing assays into spatially resolved single-cell data. This technology utilizes unique DNA barcodes on a tightly packed bead array to spatially label individual cells. The resulting tagged nuclei are then processed on conventional single-cell sequencing platforms, preserving spatial information while providing true single-cell resolution. In this study, Trekker technology was applied to achieve spatial ATAC-seq (Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin using sequencing) combined with gene expression analysis, as well as spatial V(D)J sequencing paired with gene expression.
Evaluation of SMART-Seq Human BCR (with UMIs) for unbiased BCR repertoire profiling

This poster shows that SMART-Seq Human BCR (with UMIs) effectively detected specific recombination events for heavy chain isotypes across nine monoclonal B-cell lines, at frequencies corresponding to spike-in percentages or known expression levels. Deep analysis of BCR repertoires can provide profound insight into both healthy and diseased immune systems.
