Carryover-prevention products
Since PCR is a highly sensitive technique, carryover of amplification products from previous PCR reactions may lead to false-positive results. This is a very significant issue during endpoint PCR, particularly when testing food and environmental samples. These carryover-prevention products are designed to eliminate such false-positive results.
