Adeno-associated virus (AAV)
293T cells for AAV production
Getting the most from your adeno-associated virus (AAV) packaging system requires a host HEK 293T cell line that is easily transfected and supports high-level expression of viral proteins. Our AAVpro 293T Cell Line was clonally selected to meet these requirements, allowing you to produce high titers of recombinant AAV when combined with our AAVpro helper-free systems.
- 293T clone selected for high-titer AAV production
- Provides high titers when combined with our AAVpro helper-free systems

Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) is a non-enveloped, single-stranded DNA virus that can infect both nondividing and dividing cells. AAV is thought to be non-pathogenic to humans and only replicates in the presence of a helper virus. These features have made AAV a useful tool for gene delivery to a wide variety of cell types, and an attractive vector for gene therapy.AAV learning center Adenovirus learning center
