High-salt solution for RNA precipitation
The High-Salt Solution for Precipitation (Plant) may be used for high-quality RNA purification from plant samples and to enable polysaccharide and proteoglycan removal. The reagent is typically used to remove any remaining polysaccharides in the plant homogenate sample following RNA preparation. High-purity total RNA can be obtained by adding the High-Salt Solution for Precipitation (Plant) reagent during the isopropanol precipitation step of plant RNA extraction.

Overview
- High-quality RNA purification for plant samples
- Add-in reagent for the isopropanol precipitation step during plant RNA extraction
More Information
Applications
- Polysaccharide removal
- Proteoglycan removal
If extracting small amounts of RNA from a sample, we recommend using the Dr. GenTLE Precipitation Carrier (Cat. # 9094) during the isopropanol precipitation step of the High-Salt Solution for Precipitation (Plant) protocol for more efficient RNA recovery.
