Recombinant ribonuclease inhibitor
Takara Bio's Recombinant RNase Inhibitor acts as a noncompetitive inhibitor of RNases A, B and C and is active over a wide pH range and in at least 1 mM DTT.
- cDNA synthesis (Ribonuclease Inhibitor: 0.5 U/µl reaction)
- In vitro translation (Ribonuclease Inhibitor: 1 U/µl reaction)
- In vitro transcription using cell-free extract (Ribonuclease Inhibitor: 20 U/µl reaction)
- In vitro transcription with SP6 or T7 RNA Polymerase (Ribonuclease Inhibitor: 1 U/µl reaction)
- Polysome isolation (Ribonuclease Inhibitor: 1,000 U/ml reaction)
2313A: 5,000 U
2313B: 5 x 2313A (25,000 U)

One unit is defined as the amount of Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor required to inhibit the activity of 5 ng of RNase A by 50%. Activity is determined as the ability to inhibit hydrolysis of cytidine 2,3'-cyclic monophosphate (cyclic CMP) by RNAse A.
