This kit is designed for efficient and accurate amplification of GC-rich (up to 90%) templates. It is based on the hot-start polymerase Advantage 2 polymerase mix. This kit contains individual tubes of Advantage-GC 2 Polymerase Mix, special GC-buffers, and dNTPs. Control reagents are also provided. Enough reagents are supplied for 100 reactions of 50 μl each.

Advantage GC 2 Polymerase Mix combines Titanium Taq DNA Polymerase with a proofreading polymerase to deliver higher yield and improved fidelity compared to wild-type Taq, while providing accurate amplification of templates containing up to 90% GC content. Includes Advantage GC 2 Polymerase Mix, GC 2 PCR buffer, and GC-Melt reagent. dNTPs are not included and must be purchased separately.

This product is a mixture of dATP, dCTP, dGTP, and dTTP (each 2.5 mM).
