Obtaining somatic cells based on your desired characteristics is essential for later reprogramming into custom iPS cells. Sourcing these starting materials is a complex process that can take away time and resources from your research. Cellartis sourcing services allow you to focus on your areas of expertise and leave the challenges to us. Our sourcing services are typically followed by our reprogramming services, with the goal of delivering healthy iPS cell lines from the sourced PBMCs.

Overview

With the Cellartis sourcing service, we will work closely with our blood center partners to identify and obtain PBMCs from healthy donors based on your specifications. Our sourcing package starts with a detailed consultation to determine exact project requirements, including estimates of cost and lead time for specific sourcing criteria. We will locate samples based on requirements such as gender, age, ethnicity, blood type, and HLA type. We will ensure that sourcing of the desired materials proceeds according to an approved, relevant IRB application with appropriate donor consent.

Note: Takara Bio Europe (TBEAB) will perform the sourcing service only one time per purchase unless TBEAB obtains inaccurate donor samples. A donor sample is deemed inaccurate if it is not consistent with the description of donors set forth in the donor specifications that the customer provides to TBUSA or TBEAB. In the event that TBEAB sources an inaccurate donor sample, TBEAB shall source a new accurate donor sample.
