A fast way to purify plasmids for transfection—NucleoSnap Plasmid Midi

Fast midiprep kit for transfection-grade plasmid DNA purification, new snap-off column

Endotoxins are copurified during plasmid preparations from bacterial lysates. Since they interfere with eukaryotic cell survival, endotoxin reduction is essential prior to cell transfection. Macherey-Nagel has developed a new snap-off column format and a novel buffer chemistry to enable vacuum-processed isolation of transfection-grade plasmid DNA in a midiprep format. See our NucleoSnap Plasmid Midi tech note showing that you can purify 250 μg of plasmid DNA in only 35 minutes.
