Anti-GZF1 rabbit IgG antibody
GZF1 was identified through induction of its gene by glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF). It was named GDNF-inducible zinc finger protein 1. GZF1 is also known as zinc finger protein 336 (ZNF336), and zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 23 (ZBTB23). It contains ten zinc-finger motifs, four of which are required for association with nucleolin, a phosphoprotein involved in the synthesis and maturation of ribosomes. GZF1 binds the GZF1 responsive element (GRE) and acts as a repressor of transcription for visual system homeobox 2 (VSX2) and homeobox 10 (Hox10) genes. It may also control transcription of other Hox genes. GZF1 expression has been reported to be required for renal branching morphogenesis during kidney development.
This product is an affinity-purified IgG antibody that recognizes human GZF1 protein. The antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic petide, and can be used for Western blot (WB) detection or immunoprecipitation (IP) of human GZF1 protein.
