Human Ago2 N-terminal monoclonal antibody
Human Ago2 N-terminal monoclonal antibody, also known as Argonaute 2 antibody, is generated against the N-terminal region of human recombinant protein Argonaute 2, a member of the Argonaute family of proteins. Argonaute 2 is a transcription factor that is required for RNA-mediated gene silencing or RNA interference (RNAi). Argonaute proteins bind small interfering RNA (siRNA) and exhibit endonuclease activity against RNA-RNA duplexes consisting of mRNA bound to its complementary siRNA fragment. This Ago2 antibody is suitable for use in Western blot analysis.
