The Essential Protein Engineering Summit (PEGS) 2019 General Meeting
Takara Bio will be attending PEGS 2019 on April 8–12, 2019 in Boston, MA. We are looking forward to participating in discussions about the development of biotherapeutics and protein drugs. Our PEGS 2019 highlights include:
Poster: "Rapid purification and characterization of recombinant proteins and antibodies: Capturem high-capacity membranes"
Capturem membrane-based, spinnable metal ion affinity columns provide fast, high-throughput protein purification and characterization. Expanding this membrane technology with immobilized streptavidin enables a variety of rapid enrichment protocols for target proteins, antibodies, and oligos. This poster will be presented during Poster Session B (Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11) in Commonwealth Hall.
Technology highlight: T-cell expansion products and protocols
Although T cells can be isolated and grown ex vivo, naïve T cells can be difficult to expand. Precoating culture bags with RetroNectin reagent can dramatically increase the expansion of naïve T cells in combination with interleukin 2 (IL-2) and anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody treatment. We are also pleased to introduce a new xeno-free medium optimized for expansion and transduction of human T lymphocytes. Join us at Booth #538 to learn more.
